On the off chance you do want to hear about my personal experience with the dish, I’ve included a blurb at the bottom.

Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Ingredients

Portions are for 2 people.

  • 4 Chicken Thighs – boneless, skin-on
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup of Corn Starch
  • Sesame Seeds

Honey Garlic Chicken Sauce Ingredients

Portions are for 2 people.

  • 4 TBSP Minced Garlic (or 4 Garlic Cloves)
  • 2 TBSP Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Sriracha
  • 3 TBSP Soy Sauce
  • 2 TBSP Honey
  • 1 TBSP Water

Step-by-Step Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken Recipe

  1. Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set chicken aside.
  2. Place corn starch in a bowl. Mix in a pinch of salt until combined. Coat chicken thighs in the mixture until each piece is evenly coated.
  3. Heat up oil of your choice in a pan. Place chicken skin side down in the hot pan. Cook on medium-high heat until chicken reaches an internal temp of 165. Should be about 7 minutes skin side down, 5 minutes when flipped. Once it’s golden brown and you’re sure it’s salmonella-free, set the chicken aside.
  4. Combine minced garlic, sugar, sriracha, soy sauce, honey and water in a bowl. Mix until combined.
  5. Throw the sauce in the pan you cooked the chicken in. Stirring frequently, cook until the sauce has thickened up.
  6. Slice your chicken length-wise.
  7. Plate your chicken as desired. Top with the honey garlic sauce.
